The Shelbyville Moonshiners, Inc is a non-profit organization that is a derivative from the Jaycee Organization. A group of young men in 1987, then a strong Jaycee chapter, decided that they did not want to be limited by the Jaycee age limit, in which some of the members were approaching, so they formed the Shelbyville Moonshiners, Inc.

The local organization is dedicated to economic development, donations to local charities, scholarships, school activities, and community events. In 1993, the organization purchased buildings and land that was owned by E&E Equipment. The organization maintains this as their community building where wedding receptions, blood drives, community events, and family gatherings are held.

Due to your generosity and participation in our activities like the Annual Shrimpboil, you have provided us with the opportunity to continue with the above activities.
